Cork is an ecological material with a number of uses in the household. It owes its popularity above all to the fact that it is suitable for various tasks. It does not absorb moisture and does not damage under the influence of high temperatures, therefore cork pads are commonly used in the kitchen. In turn, its thermal insulation properties affect the fact that it is sometimes used as an expanded cork to insulate the walls of buildings. It is a reusable material, it doesn't get dirty and it is resistant to oils or chemical compounds that destroy other surfaces.

The most popular products made from this raw material are certainly wine corks and other bottles. The alcohol corking method has been used for thousands of years and is still the most beneficial way to store liquors.
